Privacy
This is a small game run by one person. It collects the least it can get away with, and none of it is sold, shared or used for advertising.
If you play as a guest
You don't need an account to play. Type a name, create or join a table, and that's it. A guest name is whatever you type — it isn't checked against anything and isn't linked to you. Guest games are not recorded and do not count towards any statistics.
If you create an account
An account stores your email address, your display name, and a hash of your password. The password itself is never stored and cannot be recovered — only replaced. The email is used for exactly two things: signing in, and sending you a verification or password-reset link if you ask for one. It is never shown to other players.
Finished online games are recorded so wins and losses can be counted: which game, which table code, whether you won, and when. Other players you have finished a game with can see your display name and whether you are currently online — that is what makes the invite list work. They cannot see your email address.
Cookies
Two cookies, both strictly functional. One keeps you signed in; one remembers which seat at a table is yours so you can reload or come back without losing it. Both are HttpOnly and Secure. There are no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies, and no third-party scripts that would set any.
Other data
Your IP address is used transiently to rate-limit sign-in attempts and invites, so the site can't be brute-forced. It is stored only as a hash, only for the length of the rate-limit window, and is then discarded.
Who else is involved
Verification and password-reset emails are delivered by Resend, which necessarily receives your email address in order to send to it. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Everything else — the game, the database, the backups — runs on a single server operated by the site owner.
Keeping and deleting things
Account data is kept while the account exists. Tables are automatically discarded seven days after their last activity. If you want your account and its game history deleted, email the address below and it will be removed.
